I am writing regarding the legislation –The Hmong Congressional Gold Medal Act. In the strongest words, we, the USNDC are humbled that you have taken such action. During the Viet Nam War, as a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer, I served in Studies and Observation Group (SOG) under similar conditions. Our Hmong/Lao Americans served alongside us and now deserve the recognition for their bravery and dedication to the principles of freedom and liberty given freely as fellow Americans.

It's with a heavy heart to break this sad news to all USNDC members and friends that knew Major General Potter, we lost him on 17 June 2022.
